Information We Collect
Flatbed does not collect any information about you, your device, or your documents. We do not run analytics, advertising SDKs, or telemetry in the app.
Tracking
Flatbed does not use tracking technologies and does not track you across apps or websites.
How Your Data Is Processed
When you scan documents or run OCR (text recognition), the work is performed on-device using Apple-provided frameworks (VisionKit and Vision). Flatbed does not transmit your scans to any server for processing.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, Flatbed may sync your scanned documents across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to us. You can disable iCloud sync for Flatbed in your device's iCloud settings.
Where Your Documents Are Stored
Scans and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device (and in your iCloud account if sync is enabled). If you choose to export, share, or save files to a third-party service (for example, Files, email, or another app), that destination is governed by the privacy policy of that service.
Third-Party Services
Flatbed does not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising services.
Children's Privacy
Flatbed does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new effective date.
